WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU FEEL UNMOTIVATED

Lack of motivation isn’t a bad feeling, but it is bad for you to let those feelings take over.
In fact, when you lack the motivation to do a particular thing, it is an indication that you are used to doing it overtime. The only problem is, at the point when you feel unmotivated, you simply lack a reason to do that one thing again!

At that point, the best thing to do isn’t to give up. No!
Instead, you’re to find a reason to keep moving.

There are so many things to do when you feel unmotivated, you can easily;

  • TAKE A BREAK

Yes, you can take a break but don’t stop.
It’s isn’t a bad idea if you choose to take a break from work and relax.
Observe a siesta, watch a movie or spend time on a hobby.
There are different types of things that you can do to relieve yourself from the stress and regain your stability and well-being.
Simply make a list of the things that excite you and pick one to do.

  • BREATHE;

Don’t be too hard on yourself, okay?
It is very normal to feel unmotivated. Give yourself some space and meditate on your progress so far.
You can also go through all of your past successes and celebrate how far you have come.
Psyche yourself once in a while. It works.
Appreciate yourself and celebrate the works of your hands! This way, you’re motivated to do more.

  • GO THROUGH THE PROFILE OF YOUR ROLE MODELS AND ADMIRERS

In whatever field you find yourself, I believe you should have a role model or some body or people that you look up to and model after. If this is true, then you have an advantage of looking through their profile, study through their past achievements, failures and successes.
Find a way to encourage and inspire yourself with their story.

  • REFLECT ON YOUR SMALL WINS

You can make a list of all that you’ve achieved within a specific time range.
Celebrate and gift yourself based on the amazing things that you did.
Talk to another person like you and advice based on what you know and have achieved so far.
Reflect on the basic things you have done and be happy about it.

  • FIND YOUR WHY

This is one of the most cogent things to do!

One of the reasons why you feel unmotivated is because you do not have a reason to do that which you want to do!

You should always know the reason for doing what you want to do because your reason ends up as a conviction to keep you moving when all that you want to do is to stop!

Know the reason why you’re doing what you’re doing and stick to it ruggedly. Yes, I mean ruggedly!
